👽 All immediate snapshots before the "You are here" current state are consolidated to the base parent disk. All existing snapshots are removed from the snapshot tree and the virtual machine.
ReplyDelete"Delete all" will remove all snapshots after any consolidation is complete and will consolidate snapshot content from the "You are Here" and up into base disk any snap shots below the "You are Here" are deleted.
👽 VMware made a huge improvement to the snapshot handling and consolidation in vSphere 6.x and up, but they didn’t advertise this broadly to the whole community.
