  1. 👽 We have four cables connecting the physical ESX host to the pSwitch; however, had we scaled the physical solution to four servers, we would have multiplied the network infrastructure impact by four (for a total of 16 NICs, cables, and pSwitch ports). Look at the ITSA image example to see what happens in a virtual environment.

  2. 👽 The default virtual switch that is enabled when you install VMware vSphere ESXi is the vSphere Standard Switch (vSS). When you install ESXi, the default management port group is attached to this vSS that is created by the installation – vSwitch0. It work only with one ESXi host. vSS bridge traffic internally between virtual machines in a VLAN. 💬 See All Posts @ https://www.itsa.cloud/blogger.html
