VMware simplified the VCSA topology by supporting vCenter Server with an embedded platform services controller running in enhanced linked mode (ELM). ELM allows you to link multiple vCenter Servers together as a ‘single pane of glass’. This allows architectural design without the complexity of external PSCs or load balancers. NO more external PSCs.
